Heather Smith

Hi! I’m Heather Smith, and I’m truly excited to be part of this incredible organization. I grew up in Winneconne (Go Wolves!) and was introduced to this amazing group by my friend, Brittany. A little about me: I earned both my Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting and my Master of Professional Accountancy (MPA) from the University of Wisconsin–Whitewater. While at Whitewater, I met my husband, Chris, while playing intramural sports. We now live in DeForest, Wisconsin, with our two children, Kellan and Kaylee. I’m a licensed CPA and currently work as an Assurance Manager at Baker Tilly in Madison. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, playing card and board games (Sheepshead and Cribbage are favorites!), boating, and reading. Form the Family is dedicated to supporting families and children in need, especially those impacted by foster care and adoption. As a parent—and having close friends who have fostered children—I deeply understand the importance of the work this organization does in our community. I’m honored to serve as Treasurer for Form the Family and excited to support its mission!
